LAGOON 420 Waypoint II
The Lagoon 420 is one of the most important boats to come out of the Lagoon Yard in recent years, offering a hybrid electric-diesel propulsion system combined with the unique selling points of its predecessor the Lagoon 410.
The Lagoon 420 appears as large as the 440 and her layout inside is even more open and spacious. The master suite has a superior "open feel" with no bulkheads breaking it up, while the head arrangement is the best ever offered in a catamaran.
On deck one never feels confined by the bimini and the helm centered controls really do make her a singlehanders dream.
A raised helm station with all the lines and controls lead to one location will make this boat a snap to single-hand. By adding more than the one standard electric main halyard winch, anyone will be able to handle the sails in any condition while being nicely protected under the hardtop bimini.

LAYOUT & ACCOMODATIONS:

Priority has been accorded to comfort when designing the interior of the Lagoon 420. Access into the saloon from the cockpit through a sliding glass door on the same level. The longitudinal galley opens directly on the cockpit, it is the most convivial and practical area, fully equipped with numerous lockers.
The port hull of the 3 cabin owners' version is in fact a suite:
large bed, sofa, numerous lockers and hanging lockers, washroom with separate shower. |
DECK & EQUIPMENT:
The deck is uncluttered so moving around is easy: wide side decks, flush deck hatches, plenty of lockers. The aft passerelle allows passage from one transom to the other without going back up in the cockpit.
There are many ways to enjoy life on board the Lagoon 420: the cockpit with its large bench seats and a table is protected from the sun and the bad weather by a rigid bimini top. The twin seats helm station was designed for sailing with a reduced crew. all the control lines can be handled by one person from the helm station, freeing the other living spaces for the guests. The foredeck is exclusively dedicated to relaxation.
