The Jeanneau 49DS is elegant, powerful and fast, but also easy to handle in more lively sailing conditions - a classic design from renowned architect Philippe Briand. She has a delicious, eye catching dark blue hull, bow thrusters and 75HP engine, and of course a spacious, dry, aft cockpit with exceptional visibility forward.
With in-mast furling she’s a delight to reef and all controls are led back to the cockpit. Electric harken winches, bimini and dodger makes life in the cockpit is a dream. Auto-pilot, chartplotter and Raymarine “seatalk” systems make up the electronics.
Below decks her spacious layout offers excellent accommodation for up to six people. She’s an air-conditioned 3 cabin version with two large heads (quiet electric flush!) and all the comfort and quality below that you’d expect from Jeanneau.
