Yacht Damage Waiver (YDW) - Mandatory
The sunsail YDW provides you with limited liability coverage
for damage to the yacht and its equipment less a $500.00 deductible. Does not cover cases of negligence.
The $500.00 deductible deposit is taken at the base to cover the loss or damge of the yacht inventory,
dinghy and outboard.This will be returned to upon the satisfactory comletion of your yacht debreif.
YDW charges are as follows:

Fuel Charges
Due to the escalating costs of fuel, we must charge you for any fuel that is used on your trip. Your
yacht will be supplied to you with a full tank of fuel at the start of your trip. For your convenience,
we now offer two re-fueling options.
Option 1:
Prepay for your fuel. The prices below are based on the average amount of fuel used by each yacht
category. The yacht must be returned with at least 1/4 tank of fuel. Additional fuel may need to be
purchased during your charter.
Yachts 38ft and below....................................................$35
Yachts 39-45ft & catamarans 40ft or less.......................$45
Yachts 46ft or larger & catamarans 40ft or larger...........$60
*Price includes fuel for outboard engine
Option 2:
Return your yacht at the end of your charter with the tanks and outboard full.
Please note: If you do not choose Option 1 and your yacht is returned without the proper refueling,
you will be charged double the amount of the option one pricing (based on the size of your chartered yacht).
Great Barrier Reef Marine Park Fee
$15/per person payable upon arrival at the base.
Thai National Park Fee
200 Baht per person ($5.00 US) when entering Thailands National Parks.
Thai Visa Charges
Checking in and out of Thailand from our Langkawi base there is a charge of 175 RM per
person ($45.00 US) plus 100 RM ($26.00 US) per yacht. This is a one time payment.

Transfers to Base
Transfers from Hamiliton Island Airport to the Great Barrier Reef base are included. Tranfers
from Vava' u airport to the Tonga base are included. Transfers to/from other locations can
be arranged .
Provisioning
Provisioning lists are availbale for all Asia Pacific locations. Provisioning is essential
in Tonga. Lists must be received 1month prior to departure. Please call our vacation
consultant for for more details.Provisioning costs are not included in the bareboat rates. |
