We had an issue with a jammed windlass which I was able to solve. Also the main sail was the wrong shape. It worked well reefed, but when all the way up it had a very poor shape. This didn't matter so much since we reefed it almost the entire trip.

Yes with the exception of the mainsail. The reef didn't function well.

Yes. We didn't check the GPS and found out that it wasn't running. We got a handheld GPS. :-)

Yes, somewhat disorganized, but overall friendly.
2. Was the yacht clean and in good working condition?
Everything worked fine, The boat was a little dirty. We would have appreciated having cleaning supplies on board.
3. Was the yacht's cooking and cleaning equipment sufficient?
Yes, except as noted above.
4. Was the boat well ventilated?
Yes
5. Did the staff at BVI Yacht Charters do a good job familiarizing you with the yacht and it's equipment?
I was comfortable, but the walkthrough was very quick.
6. Did you like the area you cruised?
Very much
7. Could we at Virgin Island Sailing, Ltd. have helped you further in any way?
No. You were great, would have liked to receive your planning emails about a week sooner, but i'm a big planner.

We had a few problems ( broken mooring line at White Bay, JVD that resulted in a collision), but we would still do it again. We will definitely contact you the next time we charter. Thanks, Jim Webb

Dear Melody! We were cruising in the BVI's for two weeks. We liked everything we saw there. Beaches are beautiful, people very friendly! The boat we chartered "Lady Bea" was wonderful! It would be nice if we stayed a little longer, atleast a week!
