No. This was a major problem. It is not a boat for the summer in the BVI.

The use of my cpap machine was a l ittle problematic. The DC to AC converter worked well for three days, but not so well after that.

1. Were the staff at BVI Yacht Charters friendly and accommodating?
Very much so. I made a few out-of-the-ordinary, last-minute requests and they graciously complied with them all. Very professional staff.
2. Was the yacht clean and in good working condition?
Yacht was in excellent condition despite being ten years old. All systems functioned flawlessly and the boat was very clean; heads, showers, kitchen - it was all very good.
3. Was the yacht's cooking and cleaning equipment sufficient?
The boat had everything we needed. I suggested to BVI Yacht CHarters that an "online inventory" would have been helpful. I really didn't know what to expect in the kitchen (pots, pans, plates, bowls, cups, utensils, grilling utensils, etc.). There ended up being a good supply of these things, but we didn't know that before arriving. We had packed a lot of these things unnecessarily.
4. Was the boat well ventilated?
All the hatches and portholes functioned fine. The cabin fans worked, but I didn't know that such a small fan could be so noisy! The fans were all very loud (out of balance) and made more noise from vibration than they did circulating air. That's just a small item though.
5. Did the staff at BVI Yacht Charters do a good job familiarizing you with the yacht and it's equipment?
To their credit; no. I requested that they let my captain take the yacht out of Road Town before I even arrived on island. They did a 15 minute briefing with my captain, and he sailed to West End where I arrived later in the day with my family. I actually never met the staff at BVI Yacht Charters until the last day of our trip. My captain was confident with the systems onboard and was content with the assistance offered to him by BVI Yacht Charters.
6. Did you like the area you cruised?
Loved it. We did the usual BVI circuit; West End, JVD, Marina Cay, Virgin Gorda, Anegada, Fallen Jerusalem, Coopers Island, Peter Island, Norman Island, and Tortola.
7. Could we at Virgin Island Sailing, Ltd. have helped you further in any way?
You guys were all great. I probably should have asked you more questions ahead of time, since this was our first charter, but it all worked out just fine.

I'm very happy to have used Virgin Island Sailing as my broker. Before calling you, I had attempted to charter directly with two different captain/yacht owners. Both of those arrangements ended badly and motivated me to contact you. Booking through VI Sailing gave me piece-of-mind in the weeks leading up to our trip that I would not have otherwise enjoyed had I booked directly with a captain. Your staff was helpful, always answered the phone, and called me back promptly. Without question, I would use VI Sailing again to book my future charters. Thank you!

Generally yes, particularly the dock personnel.
2. Was the yacht clean and in good working condition?
Yacht was clean, but not everything worked, e.g., wind indicator, boat speed indicator, and we weren't told. The boat sailed very well.
3. Was the yacht's cooking and cleaning equipment sufficient?
BBQ grill was missing, and the office staff implied it was our fault for not telling them. All other equipment was fine. Nice freezer.
4. Was the boat well ventilated?
No, no cross flow in the main cabin. Portholes only on port side.
5. Did the staff at BVI Yacht Charters do a good job familiarizing you with the yacht and it's equipment?
Yes, kudos to Chris. Anthony also helpful on the phone.
6. Did you like the area you cruised?
Yes, absolutely beautiful (when it wasn't stormy).
7. Could we at Virgin Island Sailing, Ltd. have helped you further in any way?
BVI Yacht Charters did not know about the checkout captain until I called to confirm. They didn't seem to require one after all. I requested it anyway, and he was good.

The engine belt broke leaving us stranded (wind was calm). Chris and Elvis came quickly out to replace the belt. This was especially great service, friendly, professional, and efficient.

Yes. BYIYC also got us a beverage cooler. I wish we could have been able to lower the spray dodger, however. It was bolted into the upright position.

Yes.
4. Was the boat well ventilated?
Like any yacht, night ventilation is problematic. However, all of the fans worked.
5. Did the staff at BVI Yacht Charters do a good job familiarizing you with the yacht and it's equipment?
Yes. Chris (?) showed us everything we needed. I wished there was a way we could get familiar with the Chartplotter in advance, however. Also, I would like to know how much water was contained in each of the four tanks.
6. Did you like the area you cruised?
Definitely. Anegada and JVD were our favorites.

I think you covered all of the issues we had. Paperwork was quite smooth.

The bed linens were awful - polyester and cotton in heat and humidity is not a good fit. The GPS was not up to date and it was a challenge to figure it out. Otherwise, all was fine.
