After chart
briefing and orientation, clear customs out of St.
Lucia depart for any easy long reach along the coast
to moor between the majestic Pitons.
Day 1: From
Marigot Bay to St. Vincent - 61 nautical miles
Set sail early to
reach Petit Bayhaut, in St Vincent, for lunch and
snorkeling. Pick up a mooring ball at Young Island
Cut for the night.
Day 2: From St.
Vincent to Bequia - 9 nautical miles
A short sail will
take you to anchor in Admiralty Bay Bequia where you
can clear customs into St. Vincent Grenadines, swim
and explore this lovely island. On Bequia’s south
side you can find the gorgeous Friendship Bay with
its lovely white sand beach.
Day 3: From
Bequia to Mustique - 6.5 nautical miles to Petit
Nevis, 7 nautical miles to Britannia Bay
Sail to the tiny
island of Petit Nevis for lunch and more beach time.
On to Mustique, the land of royals, rich and famous,
where you can overnight in Britannia Bay.
Day 4: From
Mustique to Mayreau - 14 nautical miles to
Charleston Bay, 6.0 nautical miles to Salt Whistle
Bay
A three hour sail
takes you to Charlestown Bay in Canuoan, where you
can stop for lunch and spend a little time exploring
this island of spectacular views and exquisite
watercolours. Then continue to Salt Whistle Bay,
Mayreau with its half moon beach.
Day 5: From
Mayreau to Tobago Cays - 2 nautical miles
Set sail for the
spectacular Tobago Cays the small deserted islands
protected by Horseshoe reef where you can snorkel
and explore. Lobsters are available from the
fisherman in Season.
Day 6: From
Tobago Cays to Petit St. Vincent - 4 nautical miles
to Palm Island, 4 nautical miles to PSV
Stop at Palm
Island for lunch before anchoring in Petit St
Vincent for the evening.
Day 7: From
Petit St. Vincent to Bequia - 7nautical miles to
Chatham Bay, 28 nautical miles to Bequia
Sail to Chatham
Bay on Union Island where the snorkeling is great
the fish varied and colourful off Rapid Point. Head
north to Bequia to anchor overnight. Clear customs
out of St. Vincent Grenadines first thing in the
morning.
Day 8: From
Bequia to St. Vincent - 15 nautical miles
Follow the coast
of St. Vincent up to Wallilabou Cumberland Bay where
you can enjoy the beautiful sunset.
Day 9: From St.
Vincent to St. Lucia - 46 nautical miles
Back the scenic
Pitons on St. Lucia, where you can take a tour of
the volcano and the Diamond Falls if you arrive
early enough.
Day 10: Back to
The Moorings base - 10 nautical miles
Sail to Marigot
Bay to check into Customs and debrief before noon.
